'I met Vicki Sher a year ago at her closing discussion at Proto Gallery for the closing of Paper Giants also featuring the work of Ky Anderson, and Meg Lipke in their long distance collaborative project. I was immediately drawn to her work for both it's whimsical nature, yet confident execution. Her work is steeped in personal narrative, poetry, and elegant formal qualities. All of these elements are tied together in varying combinations of drawing, painting, collage and video. A delicate weaving of formal and psychological elements, she confidently gives us just enough and we are only left wanting more."
