Matt Bollinger live and works in New York. He graduated with an M.F.A in Painting from Rhode Island School of design in 2007. Bollinger is represented by Zurcher Gallery (New York & Paris) and has work in the Public Collections at the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art and The Museum of Fine Arts, Dole France. His is preparing for his next SOLO show at Zurcher in the Spring of 2016.

"Matt Bollinger's paintings oscillate between transience and permanence. Vandalized vans, and the domesticity of overstuffed libraries are two reoccurring subject matters for Bollinger's bookish paintings which focus on color to deliver emotional tonality. His un-stretched grommet pierced paintings seem to be the narrative backdrops for a traveling troop in which we are the storytellers ."
