I had my second son within the first year of moving to Madrid so motherhood has been a constant force driving me and moulding my work in many, many ways. I name many paintings after my boys O and K; they often represent situations we are in together, the adventures and misadventures, memories, emotional entanglements and the constant surprises they give me.
