This online show contains works by Reed Anderson, Nick Collerson, Joanne Greenbaum, Justyn Hegreberg, and Isabel Kerkermeier. I selected works by these artists mainly because they shock my monkey. In terms of what Peter Gabriel meant in his song from 1982, those paintings and sculptures provoke a feeling of excitement and even jealousy in me. You know the way that you wished you had made those works yourself. Works that make you want to possess them or at least you´d want to stand in front of them and absorb them, celebrate them with your eyes and emotions.
