Previous Shows: 2013: Repetition, Rhythm, and Pattern.: Crystal Gregory
Passage is a leaded glass sculpture made by Crystal Gregory. Inspired by the atrium of the Rookery building built in 1905 by Frank Llyod Wright and Daniel Burnham in Chicago, Gregory closely considers the ornamentation of this grand building and through this glass model, gestures at it’s fragility. Gregory’s work investigates the roles patterning has in comfort, familiarity, order, and identity.
